1.) How much does it cost?

NOTHING! This exhibit is open, free of charge, to students and the general public.

2.) Where will the exhibit be held?

The exhibit will be held at the Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library. An exact location in the library has not been determined yet and will be announced once a location is finalized. Be sure to check out the homepage for the most recent news about the exhibit.

3.) When is the exhibit?

The main exhibit will be on display from 10:30 till 9:00 on June 10th. The main event will be from 5:30 till 7:30; you can come to meet the people who helped to make this exhibit possible. After June 10th the main exhibit will be taken down and moved to smaller display cases throughout the Madigan Library.

4.) Am I allowed to take photos?

Yes, we encourage you to bring your camera or camcorder. Keep in mind that some minerals are sensitive to light and so some areas of the exhibit will not allow flash photography.

5.) I'd like to help with the exhibit, is there anything that I can do?

We are always looking for volunteers. Please contact us and we'll see how we can best put your skills to work for the exhibit.

6.) Will there be any refreshments?

Refreshments and snacks will be at the event from 4:30 till 7:30. While refreshments will be provided, free of charge, we ask that you refrain from bringing any refreshments into the exhibit area. This is to ensure the safety of the specimens.

7.) Can I touch the ----- item?

Most items are too delicate to handle; however, we will have a few items out on the floor that you will be able to interact with, such as Geodes and certain mineral and fossil specimens.

8.) Will there be any speakers or exhibitors?

At this time there are no planned speakers for the event; however, this could change. Please keep a lookout on the homepage for information regarding speakers and exhibitors.
